Mission Statement

The mission of the Professional Clerical section is to support the West Virginia Public Health Association (WVPHA) in their endeavor to promote a better understanding of the concepts of community health for the citizens of West Virginia. The Section will hold one or more meetings annually to promote the continuing education of our members to the objectives of the Association.

As a professional group, the goals that we have set are to strive to stay abreast with ever-changing governmental issues.  Issues that we have to know and understand in order to perform our daily job requirements, may it be at the county, local or state levels.  By adapting to new issues and changes we will maximize our performance as professionals when providing public health services to the citizens of West Virginia.
